New York Cannabis Licenses Available

New York cannabis license opportunities are now available within the state’s regulated adult-use market. These licenses represent strategic positions across retail and cultivation categories, offering entry into one of the nation’s largest and most supply-constrained cannabis markets.

Available license types include:

• Provisional Adult-Use Retail Dispensary License – Authorizes direct-to-consumer cannabis sales. Permits operation of a retail dispensary anywhere in New York, subject to state and municipal buffer requirements.

• Tier-1 Cultivation License – Allows indoor cannabis cultivation with canopy authorization of up to 5,000 square feet. Limited to 26 licenses awarded statewide, supporting a cost-efficient cultivation model within a limited-license environment.

• Tier-2 Cultivation License – Permits expanded indoor cultivation with canopy authorization of up to 12,500 square feet. Limited to 26 licenses awarded statewide, offering increased production capacity and wholesale scalability.
